Dead shrubs have a way of dragging down an entire yard. They stick out, they look neglected, and no amount of mulch or cleanup really hides them. That was the starting point on this one - old shrubs that had run their course and a bed that needed a full reset.

We pulled everything out and started fresh. Emerald green arborvitae went in along the back line, which does two things at once - it gives the yard a clean, structured look and starts building real privacy as the trees fill in. They stay green year-round, they grow in a tight columnar shape, and they require almost zero ongoing maintenance. That's a hard combination to beat.

The beds got refreshed with river rock, which ties the whole thing together. No more worrying about mulch breaking down or washing out. River rock holds up, looks sharp, and keeps the beds looking clean without constant attention.

When you swap out struggling plants for the right ones and pair it with a clean ground cover, the whole space just feels more intentional. It stops looking like a yard that's getting by and starts looking like one that was actually designed. That's the difference this kind of work makes.

This is one of the more common requests we get - people who are ready to stop fighting their landscape and just want something that looks good and stays that way. A full bed removal and reinstall with the right plants is usually the cleanest solution, and the results speak for themselves.
