Small yards are tricky. There's not a lot of room to work with, and if the layout isn't right, the whole space just feels cramped and cluttered. The goal here was simple - turn a tight, underused backyard into something that actually functions and feels good to spend time in.

What we ended up with is a clean hardscape setup using large-format stone pavers with dark pebble-filled joints running between them. That detail alone makes a big difference. It gives the surface a finished, intentional look instead of the standard poured concrete or plain paver grid most people default to. The patio flows right alongside an existing decorative tile section, tying everything together without competing with it.

The white vinyl privacy fence with lattice topping runs the full perimeter and includes a matching gate - so the space feels enclosed and private without feeling boxed in. That lattice detail at the top lets light and air through while still keeping the yard screened from neighbors. It's a small touch that does a lot of work.

A fresh mulch border was laid along the fence line to clean up the edges and keep maintenance low. No more fighting overgrown grass against the fence posts. The whole yard - from the pavers to the fence to the planting border - reads as one cohesive design instead of a patchwork of separate decisions.

This is exactly the kind of work we focus on. Thoughtful hardscape and construction that fits the space you actually have. We set clear expectations upfront, we follow through, and the finished product speaks for itself.
